Cancellation & Refund Policy
- All cancellations or changes must be sent to us in writing via email or official WhatsApp communication.
- The date of cancellation will be the date we receive your written notice
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed only through the original mode of payment.
- Certain bookings may be non-refundable, depending on hotel, airline, or local partner policies. These details will always be communicated during booking.
Cancellations by Traveller
Domestic Trips:
- 30 days or more before departure: 80% refund of the total package cost
- 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund
- 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund.
- Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: No refund.
International Trips :
- 45 days or more before departure: 70% refund of the total package cost.
- 30–44 days before departure: 40% refund.
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
Note: These timelines may vary for specific destinations or promotional deals as per airline and hotel policies.
Non-Refundable Components
We use your information to:
- Certain components of the trip are non-refundable, irrespective of the cancellation date.
- Flight/train tickets once issued.
- Visa fees, insurance, and taxes.
- Peak season or festival period hotel bookings.
Convenience and service charges.
Partial Cancellations or Amendments
- Any modification (such as a change in travel dates, destination, or traveler details) will be treated as a new booking.
- Additional charges or rebooking fees may apply as per airline/hotel policies.
Cancellations by Route Planners
- In such cases, travellers will be offered:
- A full refund, orThe option to reschedule or transfer the booking to another trip.
- Route Planners shall not be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by the traveller, such as flight tickets, visa rejections, or travel insurance purchased separately.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any loss or refund arising due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural calamities, pandemics, strikes, war, or sudden government restrictions.
Refund Timelines
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days after the deduction of applicable charges.
- For international payments, refund timelines may vary based on bank processing times.
No-Show Policy
If a traveler fails to join the trip on the scheduled date or time without prior notice, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be applicable.
Transfer or Substitution
If a traveller is unable to join the trip, the booking can be transferred to another person, subject to:
- A written request made at least 7 days before departure, and
Payment of applicable transfer fees (if any).
Policy Updates
- Route Planners reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
- The policy applicable at the time of booking will govern the terms of cancellation and refund.
